Alan Pauw '42 recently was recognized for his decades of community service in Riverside, Calif., particularly for his work on the Riverside Community College Board of Trustees. During his 28-year tenure as vice president, the school built two new campuses and enrollment grew from 3,000 to 22,000 students. Pauw, an attorney and certified public accountant, also has served on the boards of the NAACP, the Urban League and local business associations.

a physician in Lafayette, Ind., for nearly 30 years. His career included
