Prein & Newhof hired Ryan Waalkes ’02 to its engineering department in the Grand Rapids office. He has been serving as an intern in the Grand Rapids office since summer 2001, working as an inspector of the Muskegon Force Main Project.
Vector Marketing, the exclusive marketer of Cutco cutlery, recognized Rebecca Parrott ’02, of Grand Rapids, for reaching her $50,000 personal career sales milestone. Rebecca joined Vector Marketing while a full-time student at Calvin two years ago. She has been promoted to field sales manager.
James Price ’01, of Littleton, Colo., is working on a three-year assignment in Haiti for the Mennonite Central Committee. He is working as an economic development consultant.
Elisabeth Bont ’02 joined Prein & Newhof in Grand Rapids, Michigan as a Communications Assistant. Elisabeth earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Journalism from Calvin.
Jennifer Johnson ’01, of Middleburg, Ind., is working in Mozambique as an AIDS campaign coordinator for the Mennonite Central Committee (MCC). MCC is the service, development and relief agency of North American Mennonite and Brethren in Christ churches.
