Small office, big impact

“So what does your office do at Calvin?” a prospective student asked me not long ago. “Well,” I said, “the career development office at Calvin is a small office that has a big impact.” We help students discover the will of God for their vocational lives, and we bring students, alumni and potential employers together to pursue mutual interests and employment opportunities.

The career development office helps students and alumni achieve their career goals. We partner with students, faculty and employers to make big things happen.

This year, the office will sponsor a dozen career fairs, provide career counseling for more than 1,000 Calvin students and alumni, help more than 400 students find internships, bring hundreds of employers on campus for interviewing (and fine dinner meetings), and make a big impact on many lives.
