Melinda Berry ’02 recently completed a term as a vessel officer on the “American Queen,” a paddlewheel cruiser that travels the Mississippi and Ohio Rivers. She has now relocated to Portland, Ore., to pursue community-based theater and event coordination there.

After spending two years teaching English in China, Jonathan Caldwell ’00 returned to the U.S. to pursue a master’s degree in Intercultural Studies/TESOL at Wheaton College. He graduated in December and is now back in western China to continue teaching there.

Now a member of the Peace Corps, Danielle Beckman ’03 has been assigned to Gobabis, Namibia, in West Africa, where she will teach English literature and music to 8th-12th graders.
