Family Weekend - October 19 & 20, 2007

Parents and family members of Calvin students—be sure that Family Weekend, Friday and Saturday, October 19 & 20, 2007, is on your calendar! Family Weekend is right in the middle of the fall semester (the seventh weekend), and it is a great time to visit Calvin and connect with your Calvin student. Whether you come for just part of a day, or share the entire weekend with your Calvin student, you will find a plethora of choices and opportunities to meet your student's friends, visit classes, enjoy the Fall Music Festival or Improv Comedy show, or just wander about the lovely Knollcrest campus and enjoy the fall colors!

Calvin parents and family members are always welcome and invited to stay right on campus at the Prince Conference Center, which is pleased to offer a reduced room rate for all Calvin parents. However, because several Calvin boards and councils meet during Family Weekend, room availability at the Prince Conference Center is quite limited during Family Weekend. A listing of suggested local motels and hotels is found on the Calvin Visitor Resources Web site, as well as on page 61 of the Parent Resource Guide.

A Family Weekend brochure and registration materials, which includes ticket ordering information for the Fall Music Festival, Improv Comedy show, and Family Weekend Banquet, was mailed to Calvin parents and family members in August 2007. Tickets can also be purchased at our convenient (and commerce-secure) Family Weekend Web site.
