Immigration Application
As part of the immigration process, you will need to complete an application for either an I-20 or J-1 form. Download a .pdf application below and return the completed application to International Admissions.
- I-20 application: F 1 Visa applications seeking a 4-year degree)
- J-1 application: J-1 Visa applicants coming to Calvin for an exchange program)
Arrival and Orientation
You must plan your arrival in Grand Rapids for International PASSPORT on Thursday, August 27 or Friday, August 28, 2009. The very latest you may arrive on August 28 is 4:00 pm. Students who schedule their arrival for after this time/date will be asked to return home and re-apply for admission for the next school year.
The following must be completed before you arrive:

- International PASSPORT (New Student Orientation) Registration
PASSPORT registration (and other forms) must be completed using your Calvin KnightVision account. You should have received details of this when you were admitted.
