MLK Young Leaders Weekend is a three day Pre-College program event held in January around the day of celebration for Martin Luther King. This program is geared towards equipping young leaders to lead effectively in every aspect of their live.

During the program, participants spend a three stay at Calvin College, participating in a host of featured workshops, seminars, community service-learning, and dorm life and campus fun with Calvin College students. The weekend is designated to explore the philosophy of Martin Luther King Jr and the Civil Right movement in affecting positive social change. The weekend is designed to teach students about being a community leader through workshops and service learning activities. If a student is interested in bettering their community, then the MLK Weekend is for them.
