The Parent Council meets on campus twice annually during Family Weekend (October) and Siblings Weekend (February). This group keeps the conversation going between the college and parents, and act as admissions ambassadors. At meetings, they interact with the president/vice-presidents to discuss all manner of details—from academics to administration. Members are asked to serve for two years and provide their own transportation/lodging for meetings.
Interested? E-mail firstname.lastname@example.org with information about you/your family and why you are interested. Or just e-mail us if you have more questions. We look forward to hearing from you! (Pictured: Ray and Rose Koopman, Parent Council members, with son Ryan, sophomore)
Join us this weekend!
There are events for alumni, friends and families all over the country (see calendars at bottom) to which you are always invited!

Treats: one more week to order!
Does your student need a little love from home? Consider sending them something from the Student Treat program, such as the Study Break, Pizza, Hugs From Home, or Birthday Treat. There's also a Spring Exam Treat that will include a large Calvin laundry bag perfect for transporting belongings home for the summer—or to actually tote laundry!
Order online anytime. You may also call Jen at (616) 526-6142, e-mail email@example.com or fax (616) 526-7069. The last day for ordering anything this year is next Tuesday, April 30, 2013. Thank you for your support of the student treat program!
