For the seventh time in school history, the Calvin men’s basketball team is headed to the Sweet 16 round of the NCAA III Tournament with a 67-58 victory over Wisconsin-Stevens Point this weekend. Calvin (26-3) will travel to top-ranked St. Thomas (28-1) next Saturday. Check the sports pages for more information about this victory, and full details about that game in Minnesota. Spring breakSpring break begins on March 15 at 5 p.m. Classes resume on March 25 at 8 a.m. Here are some of the travels planned for students:
- The Women's Chorale will be on tour in California from March 15—22.
- Several sports teams will be traveling south (more details available soon).
- Many students will be part of a long tradition of work trips sponsored by the Service-Learning Center.
Friday, March 29 is Good Friday and no classes are scheduled that day.

During Lent, the Calvin Institute of Christian Worship offers a wide range of resources (devotions and meditations for the season) in preparation for Easter. All year the institute has resources to guide thoughtful worship. Also read (former college chaplain) Coop's Column: "Unswervingly Resolute."

One big event coming up on campus is the 5k Run and Walk presented by Aspen Investment Management Inc. on Saturday, April 27. There's something for everyone on race day. Along with the 5k run/walk, there's the D&W School Challenge, Karen Muyskens Family Fun Run and the Striders Corporate Challenge, plus the need for many volunteers. Calvin extends its commitment to faith and learning during the summer months by offering a variety of camps for children ages four to 18! Visit the camps site to explore dozens of options for your camper. Other summer opportunities include the Entrada Scholars Program, an academic achievement program for 11th and 12th grade North American minority students; and Summer Academy, an academic immersion program for U.S. and international 10th–12th graders.
