This week, professor of religion Won Lee hopes to re-connect to the Korean prayer tradition as one of several Calvin delegates to the Prayer Summit at All Nations Church (through April 18), a Christian Reformed congregation in Lakeview Terrace, Calif. The event is designed to unite worshippers of all ages and from all ethnic groups as one praying and praising body.
Sights and sounds from campus are always available online: WebCams, pictures, Vimeo, YouTube.

Graduation is a major accomplishment for your student, but its also a major life change. The career development office is here to help with the transition! Career counselors are available to guide your son or daughter through the job search process, assist with resumes and cover letters, refine interview skills, and more. Students can call us (616-526-6485) or stop by the career development office (372 Hekman Library) to set up an appointment. More resources are also available online (click link above), or find us on Facebook.
Academic Advising will be on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 24 and 25, 2012. There are no classes those days so that professors are available to meet with their advisees. Students are instructed to meet with their advisor during this time (per faculty schedule) and prepare for registration. In fact, students must meet with their assigned advisor in order to be cleared for registration.
Please do all you can to encourage your sons and daughters to take full advantage of academic advising. In addition to meeting with an advisor, academic advising days are a good time to get caught up on reading assignments, paper writing, or visit the registrar's office for questions about graduation plans. It should not be a time to leave campus for a long weekend getaway. Here is more information about academic advising services. You may also contact Dana Hebreard (email@example.com).
Nine of the 2012 January Series presentations are now available as podcasts on iTunes and as videos on the January Series site. Click on each of the speakers names to see if that particular speaker was recorded. Follow January Series on Facebook to keep track of speakers for 2013!
