This week in Chapel, the Calvin community walks together through Holy Week. Visit the Worship Institute on their Worship Renewal Facebook page, which offers articles, meditations and thoughts on Lent and Holy Week.
If you are interested in worshiping "with" us, you can always watch Chapel (daily at 10 a.m.) or LOFT (Sundays at 8 p.m.) services. Both of these worship opportunities are also available on demand on the video archive.
Dance Guild stomps, leaps and pirouettes into its 4th decade. Calvin’s biggest student organization is also one of the oldest. This spring, Dance Guild turns 40.
The 40th anniversary was recognized in two sold-out shows in the newly-renovated Covenant Fine Arts Center. The theme, “Dance Guild Revolution,” alludes to the video game “Dance Dance Revolution” as well as to the evolution of Dance Guild over the last four decades. Read more.

The next Academic Advising is Tuesday and Wednesday, April 26 and 27, 2011. There are no classes those days so that professors are available to meet with their advisees. Students are instructed to meet with their advisor during this time (per faculty schedule) and prepare for registration. In fact, students must meet with their assigned advisor in order to be cleared for registration.
Please do all you can to encourage your sons and daughters to take full advantage of academic advising. In addition to meeting with an advisor, academic advising days are a good time to get caught up on reading assignments and paper writing. It should not be a time to leave campus for a long weekend getaway. Here's more information about academic advising services.
Congratulations to Worship Institute staff members Carrie Steenwyk and John Witvliet on the publication of "At Your Baptism," a new children's book on baptism. This vibrant board book includes illustrations by Linda Saport and incorporates text from the French Reformed liturgy.
This book is available now at the Campus Store (online) and would make a great baby gift or commemoration of baptism.
See other Worship Institute publications available including, "Seeking God's Face," by Philip Reinders, which provides an entire year of daily prayers and readings.
