Since the good news of Easter can hardly be contained in a single day’s celebration, Easter is the first of fifty days of Eastertide, the “Great Fifty Days” that lead to Pentecost. This season is designed for extended celebration, for exploring the ramifications of Easter for the redemption of all creation, and for joyful Christian living. Read more from the Calvin Institute for Christian Worship.
There are no classes on Good Friday (April 18) or Easter Monday (April 21). Campus is closed on Good Friday but will be open on Easter Monday. We wish you a blessed Easter!
Events for all
We hope to see you at an event soon! Parents and families are always invited to alumni and friends events around the country all year long. Now's the time to sign up for the Calvin 5k Spring Classic---to run, walk or volunteer---on April 26. Join a social hour in D.C. on April 30, Alumni Choir concerts on May 9 & 10, and baseball events around the country this summer, too!
Treats available anytime
Does your student need a little love from home? Maybe your son or daughter is not able to come home for Easter? Let them know you are thinking of them by sending them one of our "anytime treats" from the Student Treats options, such as a Study Break, Pizza Treat or Hugs From Home. All our treats have the option to include a personalized note from you! Please note that campus is closed Friday, April 18 (Good Friday), and open again on April 21 (Easter Monday).
Order online anytime. You may also call Jen at (616) 526-6142, email email@example.com or fax (616) 526-7069. Thank you for your support of the student treat program!
