Passport for Parents & Families

PASSPORT is a two-day summer program designed for you as an adult family member as well as your new student. Learn about Calvin through seminars and discussions that highlight the range of opportunities and services for your student.

International Passport for Parents

International PASSPORT is a six-day program designed for you as an adult family member and your new student. It takes place just before the school year begins. International PASSPORT provides a comprehensive introduction to Calvin College while also easing your student’s transition to North American culture.

Transfer Quest for Parents

Quest for parents and family of Transfer students is a four-day orientation program that takes place prior to the start of classes. After helping your student move in (if they are resident students), plan to participate in afternoon events geared specially towards family members, including a tour, informative sessions, and a cookout.

Transitions for Family

Transitions for families is a three-day program for new first-year and transfer students who are starting Calvin for the interim or spring semester. As an adult family member, we invite you to attend sessions designed for you during the first afternoon. The remainder of the program is designed for your student.
