First Year Students

Welcome, first year students!

Calvin has three orientation programs for you and your family to help you transition to Calvin. You are required to attend Passport and Quest. Looking for more of an adventure? Consider attending a Experiential Orientation trip.

The Passport program is designed for you as well as your adult family members. Quest is designed just for you.

Programs

Passport

Passport is a two-day summer program designed for you as a new student, as well as your adult family members. Learn about Calvin through activities and creative workshops that highlight the range of opportunities here.

Quest

If you’re starting Calvin in the fall as a new first-year or transfer student, Quest is for you. Quest is a three-and-a-half day program that takes place just before school begins in the fall.

Experiential Orientation

Share an amazing and memorable adventure in a remarkable wilderness setting. Learn wilderness skills, reflect on God's kingdom, live in intentional community and leave having made meaningful and lasting relationships.
