Outside scholarships are scholarships that you can pursue through outside organizations to help fund your college education. Calvin students are awarded over $1.5 million dollars in outside scholarships each year.

If you are a high school student in your senior year, we highly encourage you to to take time to explore scholarship opportunities within your local community. High school guidance counselors can be good resources for navigating local scholarships. You should also check with your parent(s) employers, church, local library and community organizations and foundation for potential scholarship opportunities. Here are some foundations for students:

It is important to notify us of any outside awards you have received. These awards can impact aid in state and federal programs. Outside scholarships do not generally impact institutional aid.
