Calvin joins this global Christian movement to deepen engagement with impoverished communities through education, advocacy and prayer.
During Interim, various activities including films, a lecture series, a hunger banquet and a prayer vigil will help the Calvin community commit itself to the Milennium Development Goals adopted by all 189 UN member states in 2000.
Chapel - Spaces, Songs & Stories
This January the Calvin community will worship God together through quiet contemplation, singing and experiencing the stories of others.
On the "Spaces" days we invite you to step into a space that is designed to be more contemplative, a place to quietly reflect on a reading, to meditate and to pray.
On the "Songs" days we invite you to join Nalini Suganandam, Linda Naranjo-Huebl, and Friends as they lead us in worshipful singing.
On the "Stories" days we invite you to enter into different kinds of stories, from personal testimonies to dramatic presentations.
