Post Coverage

National Public Radio:
Morning Edition:
Republican Debate -- NPR's Elizabeth Arnold reports from Grand Rapids on last night's Republican Presidential candidate debate in Michigan. It was the third time in just five days, that the candidates have met in a nationally broadcast debate. Topics ranged from tax cuts to negative campaign advertising. Presumed frontrunner George W. Bush, once again, was the focus of attention. (7:27)

All Things Considered:
Michigan Farewell -- NPR's Elizabeth Arnold reports from Michigan, site of last night's Republican presidential debate and home of the February 22nd GOP primary. Frontrunner George W. Bush belatedly agreed to appear at last night's debate, mostly in deference to Michigan Governor John Engler, a key supporter who is working tirelessly on Bush's behalf. The Bush campaign views the Michigan primary as a firewall, expecting a big win there to stem any erosion in the event of a setback in New Hampshire or South Carolina. (5:30)

Presidents and Pregnancy -- Inspired by a question asked at last night's Republican presidential debate at Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Robert examines the history of the size of the First Families. (3:30)
