Enrollment adopts fresh strategies for 2012

Calvin's enrollment management team has had considerable success recruiting students over the past few years by hiring more admissions counselors, increasing financial aid and adding new recruiting events to the calendar. But, some of the division's lesser known initiatives have significantly helped the college reach its enrollment goals.

"We are always looking for creative ways to appeal to prospective students," said Ben Arendt, director of admissions counseling. "It's a tough job and we always have to be evolving our approach."
