A 'classic' conference
On Friday, April 8, 2011, nearly 500 classicists and archaeologists met at Calvin’s Prince Conference Center to participate in a host of panels on different aspects of Graeco-Roman antiquity. The panels were part of the 107th meeting of The Classical Association of the Middle West and South (CAMWS), which took place April 6-9 in Grand Rapids. CAMWS is the second-largest classics association in the country. Calvin College and Grand Valley State University co-sponsored the meeting.
