A student in the "Fluorescence and Applications" interim course experiments with different colors of glowing liquid in a lab session. The course, taught by chemistry professor Mark Muyskens, explores the wide use of fluorescent materials in chemistry, biology, geology, physics, medicine, engineering and technology.
