| Fernandez to Speak at Calvin February 15, 2006 |

As part of a week of Homecoming festivities, Calvin College will feature a On February 17, at 4 pm in the Meeter Center Lecture Hall on campus, Fernandez will discuss the career path that led to him becoming the Chief City Attorney in one of the largest bilingual cities in the U.S. The talk is free and open to all. Says Calvin director of alumni relations Mike VanDenend: "Urban sprawl, the Patriot Act, hurricane emergency preparedness, federal litigation, voting controversies and legal advice to a large police department are all in a day's work for Fernandez. His talk at Calvin will be fascinating." The next day Fernandez will be feted at an alumni law professionals luncheon at the Prince Conference Center at Calvin. | |||
