Global Christian Higher Education ProjectThis collaborative research project compiled a database with information about Christian colleges and universities from all over the world, speci-fically, information such as contact information, (address, phone, e-mail, and web address) as well as when the institution began, denominational affiliation, enrollment, courses of study, and language of instruction. |
Data sorted by region Project results are organized in seven categories: Africa, Asia, Europe & Russia, Latin America, Middle East, Oceania, North America. The IAPCHE website features a list (under the Research tab) of all Christian colleges and universities that are in the database, as well as multiple ways to download the data.
Initial findings In August, the prestigious journal Higher Education: The Interna-tional Journal of Higher Education Research published initial results. “Looking for God in the University: examining trends in Christian higher education, appeared in Vol. 61, Issue 6 (2011), pages 721-755. Calvin's Jo-Ann Van Reeuwyk, professor of art education and a fiber artist, and Daniel Garcia, professor of communication arts and sciences and film maker, joined colleagues from a variety of CCCU schools for the pilot project, called Christianity and the Visual Arts.
