Jill Brown teaches flute and directs the Flute Choir at Calvin College. She holds a bachelor's degree from Calvin College, where she majored in Music Education and flute performance, and a MM from the University of Michigan. Her past instructors include Darlene Dugan and Judy Bentley. Ms. Brown has been a member of the West Michigan Symphony for 30 years, and is a substitute in the Grand Rapids Symphony. She has also performed in various Master Classes, including Julius Baker, Jeanne Baxtresser (principal flutes in New York Philharmonic), and Jeffrey Khaner (Cleveland principal).
