We cannot dictate to students exactly how to live and be in the world, but we offer them opportunities to explore the world, to probe, to ask hard questions, to interact face to face with people whose life experience has been different from most of our students. We offer them opportunities to see how theories are actualized in practice and of how practice is informed by theory.
