| In January 2003 the Hekman Library became a depository
library for Michigan government documents. Michigan documents are classified using
the Library of Congress system (as is the library's book
collection). Michigan government documents can be found by searching WebCat,
and their location will be shown as "MichDoc." Michigan documents are
shelved in the last aisle of the blue compact shelving of the government documents
department on the south side of 2nd floor..
These documents do not circulate. Also, a significant portion of the information
published by the state of Michigan can be found online through the Hekman
Library State Government Web pages. | |
