Missions and Missionaries, Missionary Monthly

Begun in 1896 and initially written in Dutch under the title De Heidenwereld, the magazine has consistently promoted the missionary outreach of the Christian Reformed and Reformed Churches through folksy stories and updates on missionary families and their activities throughout the world. Mission conferences are reported upon and promoted. By 1933 the title changed to Missionary Monthly – Reformed Review, with articles in English and a section in Dutch under the original title De Heidenwereld. At the end of 2001 the magazine once again changed its name; this time to Missions and Missionaries. This title ceased publication at the end of 2003.
