Calvin Education Professor Consults with Denver Christian Schools

During June 21–22, 2010, Robert Keeley, professor of education at Calvin College, traveled to Denver Christian High School with the assistance of a travel grant from the Kuyers Institute.
Denver Christian High School had been teaching seminar courses over the past four years, and the teachers who were charged with revising the courses asked Prof. Keeley to come to help them think about assessing how they were doing in their plans. Together, they thought about how looking specifically at the course outcomes could help with course design and assessmente of whether they were actually achieving the stated goals.
