Study Group on Learning Disabilities and Pedagogy in a Christian Context

During the 2005–2006 academic year the Kuyers Institute is sponsoring a faculty study group on the topic of Learning Disabilities and Pedagogy in a Christian Context. Led by Irene Konyndyk, a member of Calvin College's French Department who has specialized in second language education for leanring disabled students, this group will examine learning disabilities in the light of a Christian worldview and consider implications for teaching and learning. The study group will be composed of members of Calvin's faculty from across a range of disciplines. News concerning related speaker events and dissemination will be posted as details become available. |
