Life at KE

Mudbowl

Mudbowl

The annual Mud Bowl Tournament happens on the 2nd weekend of the year.

Residents compete with their building or team of buildings in events such as tug of war, leap frog race, and hoola-hoop race. There are enough events that everyone can join in the fun, or cheer on the sidelines.

Events take place in the mud pit, providing a lot of laughs, and a great opportunity to get to know others in your building!

Cookouts

Cookouts

KE has five outdoor gas grills available to residents. These are available for personal use, but are often used for KE or apartment building cookouts during warmer months.

Banquets

Banquets

Every Winter and Spring, KE celebrates another semester of friends and fun with a semi-formal banquet. The winter banquet includes a white elephant gift exchange (you never know what you might go home with), and a slide show of the year's memories are shown at the spring banquet. Both include good food and lot's of dancing!

700 + children from the neighborhood come through KE for a safe alternative to "trick or treating" through town

Each building has a theme and residents participate by leading games and handing out candy

Next year will be our 11th year!

Snowman Contest

Snowman Contest

Every year, KE holds a snowman making contest, including free hot cocoa for participants. This year, we had Bob Hope, Jimmy Hope, etc.

We hope that next year you can join in the fun!

Sport Tournaments

Sport Tournaments

With a fully functional volleyball court in the fall and spring, a basketball court year round, and an ice rink in the winter, students are often seen outdoors participating in sports activites with friends.
