How to hire a student employee 

1. Post your job on CalvinLink. If you don't already have an account, we will need to approve your new registration. You will be sent a password via email once we have approved your account.

2. Interview candidates.

3. Once your employee has submitted all necessary forms at the Payroll office, he/she should give you an Authorization to Work card.  

4. When you've selected a final candidate, submit an eCard for your employee (eCard is a Google Form, you must log in to Google with your Calvin email address and passphrase in order to access the form).

5. Once you get confirmation from the Payroll office, your student can begin working.
