Parking

Due to major construction on Calvin's campus, parking and shuttle service for the January Series 2008 will be available this year at Church of the Servant, located just east of the campus at 3835 Burton St. SE. The free shuttle will run continuously between the Fine Arts Center and Church of the Servant beginning at 11:15 a.m. and again immediately following the presentation at 1:30 p.m. Guests may board the shuttle at the entrance to the church and will be brought to the circle drive doors of the Fine Arts Center. Guests can reboard the shuttle after the presentation from the Circle Drive doors. The Shuttle will continue to run until there are no longer guests waiting at these doors.

Depending on what other events are taking place on campus it may be possible to also find parking in front of the Prince Conference Center, however, from this lot you will need to take the sidewalk to the skywalk which goes across the beltline. The shuttle will be running only from Church of the Servant. We apologize for this inconvenience during our construction. Please allow ample time to get to the auditorium.

Handicapped Parking

The handicapped parking in the Fine Arts Center parking lot is located in the small lot south of the library. There are also several handicapped parking spots located around the Fine Arts Center Auditorium.

Seating

Keep in mind that the 1,000 seat Fine Arts Center Auditorium often fills and overflows into video rooms for presentations of The January Series. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. each day and seats can be saved until 12:15 p.m. The presentation begins promptly at 12:30 p.m. at which time the main floor doors are closed and late arrivals will be directed to the balcony if seats are available or to video overflow. Food and beverages are not allowed in the auditorium.
