Clickers:
Who's using them?
__________________________________________________________
There are currently two models for deploying clickers on campus, the Higher Education Model and the classroom bagged set model.
Higher Education/CPS Online Model
Students purchase their clicker and/or enrollment code from the campus store and register their clicker with their KnightVision course(s). This allows the instructor to directly upload grades and results from CPS into their KnightVision gradebook.
Instructors currently using the Higher Education Model (Fall 2008) include:
- Paul Moes
- Loren Haarsma
- David Koetje
- Amy Wiltersmann
- Brian Bolt
- Rob Bobeldyk
- Roger DeKock
- Doug VanderGriend
Classroom Bagged Sets (of 32)
Instructors can reserve a bagged set of clickers to be used in their classroom for a variety of assessments and activities. This model does not require the students to purchase their clicker and/or enrollment code, but there is not direct interface with KnightVision using this model.
