Teaching and Learning - Digital Studio Student Consultant

PURPOSE OF POSITION:
To support the integration of digital multimedia into the teaching and learning process; and to assist faculty and students in using related equipment and software.

REPORTS TO:
Multimedia Specialist

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Familiar with HTML, Dreamweaver, Flash, Fireworks and other web technologies
• Strong web design and/or development experience
• Familiar with scanning, OCR, digital video and digital imaging
• Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Eagerness to learn
• Self motivated
• A working knowledge of current Windows and Apple operating systems
• Willing to work 12-15 hours per week during school year

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist in the teaching and instructing of T&L Digital Studio clients, including professors and students
• Work on special web/multimedia projects
• Assist in the maintenance of the T&L Digital Studio lab
• Maintain a high level of proficiency in digital technologies and software
