About Calvin Wireless
Calvin Information Technology is excited to offer Calvin faculty, staff and students secure wireless network access in a growing number of locations on campus.
Wireless access for guests is available in the Prince Conference Center and other selected areas on campus.
Connecting to Calvin Wireless
All you need to connect to Calvin Wireless is:
- a laptop with a wireless card with WPA2 Enterprise a, b or g capability
- a laptop with Windows XP SP2 or Windows Vista
- a laptop with Mac OS 10.4 or higher
- a KnightVision username and password

Wireless Bleed
If you are near one of the hotspots listed above, you may experience wireless bleed from a nearby access point. That means your wireless-ready laptop may see Calvin Wireless, but the signal won't be strong enough to make a reliable connection. This may also happen in some classrooms.
