Network: Establishing a VPN Connection for Mac OS X

Mac OS X 10.4:

• From the Finder menu select Go > Applications > Internet Connect.
  
• This opens the Internet Connect application. From that menu select File > New VPN Connection. Select PPTP as the protocol.
  
• In the VPN Connection dialog box enter the following with Account Name and Password being your Calvin username and passphrase:
  

• Click on Connect.

Mac OS X 10.5:

• From the Apple Menu select System Preferences, click on Network.
• Click on the + button on the bottom of the left hand menu and select VPN. The VPN Type should be PPTP.

• Click OK.
• Select the Calvin VPN from the menu on the left. Enter the following information (with Account Name being your Calvin username). Click on Authentication Settings to enter your KnightVision passphrase:

• Click Connect.
