How do I get cable TV to come in?

NOTE:
Although cable TV is available throughout Calvin College, you must have a VCR with a tuner in it or a combination DVD/VCR unit such as the Toshiba D-VR650 (pictured, immediately below, which also has a tuner in it):

Steps:

  • Turn on the power to the VCR or to the DVD/VCR unit, but do not start playing a VHS tape (or a DVD)
  • Cable TV should be hooked up to the unit and if there's no tape or DVD playing, the cable signal will be transmitted to the projector
  • Use the Source button(s) on the projector's remote to locate the video source for the cable TV; it will probably be Video1 or Video 2.
