e-mail: Installing the Mac Client at Home

Please note that the CIT HelpDesk supports GroupWise WebAccess for off-campus access to GroupWise. The instructions provided below are offered "Use at your own risk."

Because of our licensing agreement with Novell, CIT can no longer provide the GroupWise client installer from CD. The Mac installer for the GroupWise 7 client can be found on the Novell Website.

1. Go to http://www.novell.com
2. Before you can download the software you must first create an account on the Novell site. Click on the +Menu link.
   
   
3. From the menu that is displayed, click on Create new account.
4. Follow the instructions to create a new account.
5. Once you have successfully logged in, go back to http:\\www.novell.com Click on the +Menu link.
   
   and click on download.
   
6. In the Novell Downloads page select GroupWise 7.0.2 then click on Search.
   
7. You want to download the GroupWise 7.0.2 Client for Mac.
   
8. You want the GroupWise 7 SP3 Mac Client US and Multi 703 file.
9. Click the 4 files link to the right and then click on
   
10. The file you download depends on what Mac you have and if you need the multilingual version.
11. Once the download is complete, configure the Novell GroupWise Startup dialog box:
    
    
12. After entering your password GroupWise should open and you should automatically connect to Calvin's GroupWise server.
