Turning off Compatibility View for GroupWise WebAccess 2012 in Internet Explorer 9.X
Problem
Earlier versions of GroupWise Webaccess required Internet Explorer to use Compatibility View. However the latest version of WebAccess will not work when run in Compatibility View.
Solution
- Make sure Internet Explorer is displaying the Menu Bar (File, Edit, View, etc). To enable this, right click on any of the buttons in the top left corner (the house, star, or cog icons) and click on Menu Bar in the menu that loads. This will restore the standard menus.
- Click the Tools menu and choose Compatibility View Settings.
- In the "Websites you've added to Compatibility View" list, if calvin.edu or webaccess.calvin.edu are listed, click on them to select and click the Remove button.
- If it is checked, uncheck the box that says "Display intranet sites in Compatibility View" box.
- Click the Close button.
