Calvin's spam firewall

Calvin's Spam Firewall blocks much of the spam e-mail before it is sent to your personal e-mail address using several spam blocking algorithms. It currently is blocking Calvin's Spam Firewallapproximately 80% of all incoming e-mail because it identifies it as spam or as containing viruses.

The Calvin Spam Firewall default settings provide an effective tool for controlling spam. That means most of you will not have to do anything to see a decrease in your spam. In fact, if you spend less than 15 minutes a day handling spam we recommend you not make any changes to the default settings in the spam firewall. Those of you who want to further manage your spam can either use rules or other features in your e-mail program or create an account on Calvin's Spam Firewall and personalize your spam firewall settings. Both of these features should be used cautiously so you don't inadvertently block good e-mail. Faculty and Staff using GroupWise can use the GroupWise Junkmail Handling feature.
