Which Windows operating system do I have?
Two ways to determine whether you are using Windows XP or Windows 7:
1. The Start button

Note: The Windows 7 Start button does not indicate whether you are using a 64-bit or 32-bit operating system. Please refer to the Computer Properties below.

In Windows XP, to view the Computer properties you would right click on the

In Windows 7, to view Computer properties you would click on the
button, right click on Computer in the right-hand column of the Start Menu, select Properties, and you would see Windows 7 Enterprise listed as the Windows Edition. In the System information, the System Type indicates whether you have a 64-bit or 32-bit operating system (important for certain software used at Calvin).
