Your wireless connection is changing

On Tuesday, December 21st, CIT will be changing the security certificate that helps you authenticate to the CalvinWireless system on campus.

What should you do?

Once the security certificate has changed, your computer should prompt you to accept the new certificate automatically. Please accept the new certificate and your connection should be restored within a few seconds. If you are still unable to connect to the internet, please run the automatic setup program from XPressConnect found by connecting to the "wireless_setup_instructions" network.

To connect to "wireless_setup_instructions", view the available wireless networks on your computer by right-clicking on the small computer icon found in the lower right corner of your screen (by the date and time) and selecting "View Available Networks" (Mac Users: Click on the AirPort icon in the upper right corner of your screen. The pull down menu should show wireless_setup_instructions). Once you have connected to wireless_setup_instructions, open up any web browser (Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer, etc.) and you will be redirected to the setup pages.

What if I have trouble re-connecting?

If you still have trouble connecting to CalvinWireless, please stop by the HelpDesk or call us at x6-8555 anytime during normal college business hours. Please note, the HelpDesk is closed for Christmas Break starting at 4:30pm on Thursday, December 23rd.
