All Seminary faculty, staff and students have moved to Google Email (Gmail)
All Seminary faculty, staff and students have moved to Google Email (Gmail) for their email program. As part of this process, all seminary people have had their name removed from the Novell GroupWise address book. Although their actual email address has remained the same, the email addresses you have for Seminary in your personal address book or in Frequent Contacts might not be correct. We recommend that you remove any seminary email address from your address books and add them again with the new information.
The Seminary has decided not to post actual email addresses. Instead, to send an email to a Seminary faculty or staff, please go to the Seminary Directory. After selecting the correct person, click on contact. You will then be able to send that person an email. You will not be given their email address. If you need their email address, please contact the person and ask them for it.
Is the request to update your computer legitimate?
CIT maintains a list - in the form of a blog - to keep you up-to-date with:
When maintenance is scheduled, this blog will be updated with the information. Emergency maintenance notifications will continue to be sent out to the CIT Alert email listserv.
There are 3 ways to view upgrades or changes on the CIT Scheduled Maintenance Blog:
1. On the main page, the blog lists the most current item first and then lists future upgrades/changes.
2. On the right of the main page, there is a list of the current and upcoming changes listed by section:
- Planned Network/Server Changes
- Desktop Software Changes
3. You can use the calendar listed at the bottom-right to see what planned network/server changes or planned changes/updates to desktop software are scheduled for a specific day.
