Wimba Classroom

If you are teaching a course, you already have access to this tool within your course on Blackboard. If you are a member of Calvin's staff, contact the CIT Help Desk at helpdesk@calvin.edu or at 526-8555 and request that a Wimba Classroom be set up for you, your group or for your department.
With Wimba Classroom educators can combine interactive technologies with instructional best practices. Capabilities such as support of audio, video, application sharing, and content display are just the starting point of Wimba Classroom. Advanced features such as polling, whiteboarding, presenter on-the-fly, resizable chat areas and participant lists, usage analytics tools, and MP3 downloads enable further dynamic interaction between students and educators.
