Teaching & Learning: KnightVision T&L

Request to combine courses

If you teach multiple sections of a course you can have all your sections combined. Please consider the following before making this request:

  • All like courses will be combined. Thus, a professor teaching the following four courses will have two KnightVision courses generated for the Fall.

    Semester Courses
    Combined Courses in KV

    ENGL-101A
    ENGL-101B
    ENGL-231A
    ENGL-231B
    ENGL-231L

    ENGL-10AB
    ENGL-23ABL

  • All future sections of like courses will be combined until you've requested they no longer be combined, so you don't have to submit a request each semester.
  • The Grade Center for each combined course will contain all students from all sections.
  • Course combination is based on professor not on course.
  • When you combine sections of a course, the individual sections will disappear and a completely new combined section is created. Therefore, you will want to make sure the individual courses are empty before you request your courses be combined.
  • Check to make the combined sections of your courses are active in KnightVisioin.

Please complete and submit the form below.

I have read and understand the implications of the considerations stated above.
