Troubleshooting
Why can't I join a session in my class?
The most common reason is that you either didn't enter your clicker serial number when you registered for the class or entered it incorrectly.
If you can't update the serial number or get a message that it's already registered, call eInstruction at 1-888-333-4988.
If you still cannot join a class session, call eInstruction for support at 1-888-333-4988.
What do I do if I have a problem with my clicker?
All questions concerning CPS clickers should be directed to eInstruction. Phone support is available Monday - Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CST at 1-888-333-4988. You can also chat online with eInstruction technical representatives, submit help requests via e-mail or help yourself through an extensive online knowledgebase.
If eInstruction determines that your clicker is defective and warrents replacement, eInstruction will send you an exchange form via e-mail. You must take this form to the Campus Store when exchanging the defective clicker for a new one.
Additional Information
Can I just sell or give the clicker to another student?
We strongly encourage you NOT to sell or give your clicker to another student as it will most likely be used in a number of your future course. Additionally, the clicker will only work for the student who originally registered it with eInstruction.
Can I loan my clicker to another student?
No. When you registered your clicker, it was only registered to you and will only work in the courses in which you have registered it through KnightVision.
What kind of batteries does my clicker use?
The clickers require two double-A (AA) batteries.
How long will the batteries last?
With typical usage, the batteries should last 1-2 years.
