Clickers (Classroom Performance System)

clicker

The Classroom Performance System (CPS) by eInstruction is a wireless response system. With this powerful system you can ask multiple choice and numeric questions, measure comprehension, gather opinions, administer tests and quizzes, and even take attendance. Attendance and grading are automated, and any data you collect can be uploaded into the KnightVision gradebook. Calvin has two models for the clickers.

Higher Education Model
Students purchase a clicker and an enrollment code from the Campus Store. The instructor registers his/her course in KnightVision, and students register their clickers within that course in KnightVision. Results from CPS activities and assessments can then be uploaded into the KnightVision Grade Center.

Classroom Set
A bagged classroom set has a receiver and 32 handheld remotes (clickers). These sets must be reserved in advance, and picked up and dropped off at CIT.

What version of CPS is Calvin currently using?
We will be using CPS version 5.62 starting Fall 2009. Download CPS 5.6
