Before classes begin
Develop your semester course(s) either in your Master or semester course(s).
If you use Master Course(s), copy your Master Course(s) into your semester course(s).
Combine sections of like courses in Moodle (optional).
Make your course available to your students.
Add TAs or graders to your course(s).
Reserve a computer lab (from OCCE).
Reserve a bagged set of clickers -OR-
Prepare to use the Classroom Performance System (CPS) Higher Education Model.
Check the class picture generator to see students' photos.
October
Interim Moodle courses available to faculty on October 1.
What are your academic technology needs for interim and spring?
Notify T&L if you will be using the clickers in the spring. Please provide:
- the section number(s) of your course(s)
- the room location(s) of your course(s)
- the number of student you expect will be enrolled in each course
Spring Moodle courses available to faculty on November 1.
December
Request academic software installation in labs and Smart Classrooms.
- by December 1 - Interim
- by December 15 - Spring
At the end of the fall semester
Request Moodle course extension (if needed).
Copy your semester course(s) back into your Master Course(s) (Moodle)
Note: Make sure you Master Course is EMPTY before you start this process. (see request form below)
Request your Master or Master Collaborative course be purged (if needed)
Create back-ups of your semester courses
Before interim classes begin
