CIT’s Teaching & Learning Team is hosting a Wimba Classroom demonstration featuring new ways for collaborating online to enrich learning.
Educators can combine Wimba’s interactive technologies with instructional best practices to deliver audio, video, software applications, content, and more.

2:00-3:00 p.m.
Wimba Classroom also enables you to:
- Host guest lecturers virtually from around the globe
- Host virtual committee or other group meetings (400-500 people can attend simultaneously)
- Produce recorded lectures, explanations, clarifications on assignments, etc…for students
- Offer virtual office hours, group study sessions and web-based tutoring
- Create and participate in professional development opportunities
- Meet with prospective students via the internet
- Collaborate online via an interactive whiteboard or share applications
- Use USB-based videocameras and microphones with no usage costs
