Join us for Wimba training [Nov. 4]

What: A training webinar presented by Wimba for seasoned users of the Wimba Classroom suite of tools
When:  Thursday, November 4th from 9:00 am - 11:00 am
Where: CIT Large Conference Room: (In the CIT Department, first floor of the Hekman Library)

Sample topics to be covered:

  • Using content pre-loaded into one of our CMS’s (i.e. from KnightVision and/or from Moodle)
  • Proactively telling the system if you want a particular slide to have annotation tools assigned to it or not
  • How to poll your students
  • How to put your picture into the interface for greater personalization
  • How to tell if someone’s connection is weak or strong
  • Some recommended headsets and cameras to use

Light refreshments will be served.
