Invite your students to sign up for advising digitally
Monday, March 29, 2010
Try something a little different this semester…Invite your students to sign up for an advising appointment from the comfort of their own computer (or other wireless mobile device)!
View Creating an Advising Wiki to learn how to set up a sign-up sheet in your KnightVision organization.
If you still have questions after viewing the tutorial, please contact one of the T&L team members or stop by the Digital Studio - Hekman Library 121 (M-F 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.)
Additional instructions for creating a wiki using the code featured in the above tutorial to create your wiki.

You can also create the table etc in WORD and cut and paste the content into the wiki. I have been doing this for a few years and sharing the Word document with others.

Posted by Leonard De Rooy on 03/31 at 11:17 AMRandy, We’re glad we peaked your interest! In an effort to make things a little easier, we have provided the code for you to use when creating your wiki. Once you’ve added the HTML code, a template will appear in the WYSIWYG editor for you alter as you see fit. For instructions on how to do this, check out the “creating a wiki using the code” above. (Another thing to keep in mind is that once you’ve created an advising wiki, you can continue to use the same wiki from semester-to-semester…You’ll just need to adjust the dates/times.) Please let us know if you’d like any help with this.

How about setting up a template that faculty could use?
